Hello, this is Mike Turner with the KTIS Haiti Team. We have finished our fourth day of our trip and it has been a great blessing for me.  Introversion has been a obstacle for me, preventing me from doing God's Will.  The people of Haiti, especially the children, freely offer their love to me even when I am fearful of giving love in return.  God is teaching me to love unreservedly like these children love.  I am serving these children by learning to love them as they are  seeking love from me.  Loving the sick children, sick adults, and playing with children in the orphanage and at Grace Village has taught me more about God's Love than I have ever learned at home. Many blessings to each of you as you support us on our trip.
We have been sharing a word each day reflecting on our experiences in Haiti. After our first day in Cite Soleil, my word was Impoverished but that didn't fully explain Haiti. So I moved to Unspeakable because it shouldn't be allowed. Then I moved to Unexplainable because one cannot explain the smells and living conditions. But I finally landed on Unimaginable because if everyone were here holding these babies and hearing them ask for food, it would not be tolerated by the majority of Americans.   Posted by Julene Holt
